Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, Fear
Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, Fear
In these "strange" days, I have experienced many different emotions... and all with a very strong intensity. The other night I saw, by chance, the legendary film "Inside Out".
Grateful that there was a TV channel that would "lighten" the sense of helplessness.
I felt "joy" in living a unique experience together with 250 other volunteers, which began at 4 in the morning on Carnival Friday in the Porta Venezia area in Milan. In a dramatic moment, full of sadness, anger and fear, I met an Orthodox priest, from the Church of San Gregorio, named, ironically, Don Abbondio or Monsignor Avondios, who in collaboration with a Japanese Buddhist monk and with many many associations of Milan and hinterland has organized the departure of 14 vehicles (!!! 14, between Capozi trucks and private vehicles) full of medicines, food and water.
Gratitude, joy and hope… why?
Because there were so many young people under 30, on a cold morning in Milan, all with a smile and the desire to lend a hand…
Because Don Abbondio left with humanitarian aid trucks, to promote the "Odyssey of Peace". Facts not words
Because social media and technology in 2022 have made it possible to get news in real time and to draw attention to this PACE initiative.
In the last month a huge door has opened for me, after 2 years in which I have not had the opportunity to go to concerts, sporting events, theaters and other events
It's like a "positive addiction"... it started on March 27 with the Louis Tomlinson concert in Oslo (and to the many who asked me "why go to a concert in Oslo???" I simply replied "because I promised to my daughter to take her to this concert with her best friends, postponed due to the pandemic... and because in Milan the concert sold out in 10 seconds on ticketone, because there were very few seats, and because among the alternatives in European cities, we have chose a city, which we did not know, to spend a weekend of culture and entertainment). Before the Louis concert, of course a visit to the Munch Museum!
An abyss has opened up inside me, a desire to return to the presence of 1,000 to live these experiences that recharge me with energy and positivity.
Probably the Universe understood that I really needed to go back to cultural and sporting events, and, by a series of combinations, I had the opportunity to go and see
-
a Euroleague match of Olimpia Milano, thanks to a very dear friend, Monique for friends
-
at the Elfo Puccini Theater to see Oedipus Rex with my son, with a chat with the director and actor
-
a Classical Music concert at Sforza Castle, thanks to a cousin from Aosta who informed me of the event

And all this in the last few weeks 😊
I couldn't stop to thank my friend Moon, directly from the garden of Sforza Castle, my absolute favorite place in Milan
